Nurse Fancy Dress: not just for Halloween
Dressing up as a nurse, whether as part of a broader fancy dress theme such as a uniform party
, a doctors and nurses party or fun at home is an old favourite.It's also a great fun way to get into the swing of things at a party. Team up with couple of nurse friends and tour the room offering bed baths, be a nurse of death at halloween, approach your favourite doctor and ask if he wants to play doctors and nurses or team up with a doctor and carry a big syringe (without the needle and filled with water) to threaten people with if they don't "behave".
And of course a nurse costume has long been known as one of the sexiest around. A few of the nurse costumes are a bit more modest but more are extremely flirty and others are definitely in the sex kitten category.
There are also nurses costumes available for men definitely more funny than sexy and some funny themed Doctors' costumes. I remember one murder mystery dinner I hosted, a friend of mine came as Dr Malcolm Practiss, Mal to his friends, and we were all so taken with our roles that other guests genuinely thought he was a doctor even months later. That's the great thing about fancy dress parties, it's a chance to forget normal life and take on a new persona. This also gives us added bravery when it comes to chatting to, or chatting up, new people.
There are actually plenty of nurse and doctor costumes available for Halloween as well costumes such as zombies and ghosts and blood spattered Doctors of death but it's such a fun theme for any time of the year so you just need a good excuse!
