Another attraction of Teotihuacan is Citadel which lies opposite to the entrance. This was the seat of administration of the city. There are many buildings and rooms in this plaza. Temple of Quetzalcoatl is a pyramids temple that is now in ruins. This four-tier structure has sculptures of serpents and mythical gods. There are also Tlaloc masks that have been carved on the tiers of the temple. The palace of Jaguars is adorned with murals of the animals.
Canaima National Park is the biggest National park of Bolivar state and the second largest of Venezuela. Flanked by Brazil and Guyana, this picturesque place is rich in savannas and montana forests. The cascading waterfalls falling from the Table Mountains create an eye-catchy site. The largest waterfall of the world, Angel, falls from a height of 978 meters. Due to its ecological and biological significance, this park was named as World Heritage Site. The flat mountains which are better called as tepuis form the main features of Canaima National Park. As far as flora and fauna are concerned, there are over 9000 species of plants that are found here. In addition, the Park is a home to several endangered species of animals like jaguars, armadillos, and many birds.
