For city-lovers, few conurbations can come close to the bright lights and buzz of London. With an international railway station in addition to its five international airports, the UK capital is as accessible as cities come.

Covent Garden is a great chance to engage in some retail therapy, as the area has everything from tiny boutiques to big department stores all this before you consider the abundance of pubs and eateries that permeate this fantastic area.
In a city as vast and varied as London, it's difficult to choose the best' place to base yourself but Covent Garden is probably a good starting point, given that there's so much activity going on all around you.
