Lean cuisine Review- Lean cuisine mushroom and spinach pizza

I have recently decided to review the lean cuisine menu of frozen food items, this is no small task as their are over thirty different meal ideas that lean cuisine has on the market. Lean cuisine frozen meals are considered a diet conscious premade frozen dinner. Since the product is named lean cuisine they must follow a FDA mandate stating that any meal using the word lean must be under a certain amount of fat and trans fat . this gives them a great niche in an industry that now seems to be pushing weight loss and weight management to new levels.

My next meal to review is the Pesto chicken Flatbread melt. I must say the meal definentaly caught my eye in the store. it is one of my favorite meals to make as i love the taste of the chicken and red peppers in a sandwhich I was actually worried that it would taste so bad that i would never want to make a pest chicken melt ever again. Needless to say this meal did not dissapoint, in fact it actually blew me out of the park. Before i get into why, here is the nutritional information:

Price: $2.85 at Wal-Mart

Serving: 6.75 oz.

Calories: 330 per serving

Fat: 11%, 8g

Cholesterol: 7%, 20mg

Sodium: 25%, 630mg

Protein: 22g

Carbohydrates: 14%, 43g

Fiber: 21%, 5g

Sugar: 6g

I knew i had a great one when a few minutes into the microwave cycle it actually smelled amazing in my home. it was so good I couldn't believe it was coming from a frozen meal. After being nuked the bread wasn't soggy at all. I bit into the meal and BAM the red peppers actually snapped and the sun dried tomatoes tasted like actual sun dried tomatoes. I literally have nothing bad to say about this meal. I mean i guess if you dont like red peppers or good tasting frozen meals you might not like this meal. It is seriosuly that good. The cheese was perfect and the ckicken was amazing!!. for the price of this meal (2.85 with some coupons i picked up online) it was ridiculous. I give this meal a 10 out of 10 and that is very rare for me. Pick one up and let me know what you think.
