Intellisol Project Accounting and Advanced Purchase Order Processing Support and Migration

Intellisol International was very popular as extension (or as it was in old-good-days

referred as Great Plains Satellite application) with such modules as Advanced Purchase Order Processing, Project Accounting and Intellisol Extensions. We do remember the days when our consultants passed very respected Intellisol International certification requirements in Advanced POP and Project Accounting. Great Plains Software in the late of 1990th was at the dilemma to expand via Great Plains ISV partners acquisition, and the most lucrative areas were Project Accounting and Purchase Order Processing. POP option was played out with internal software development, Great Plains Software introduced its own (alternative to Intellisol Advanced Purchase Order Processing) module Great Plains POP. We do not really pretend to have access to GPS corporate archives, where Intellisol communication over possible acquisition could be likely found. Great Plains Software finally decided to purchase project accounting application from Manila Ph based Match Data corporation (in our opinion Intellisol Project accounting was a way more advanced, Intellisol was Australia based Corporation)

1. It is definitely a sad story, but what can we do for you? If you are still on the Intellisol Advanced Purchase Order Processing module, we offer you the same service, offered by Great Plains Software back in 1999 for Great Plains Dynamics 6.0 and 7.5 migration from Intellisol Advanced POP for Great Plains to Great Plains Purchase Order Processing. There are certain drawbacks, for example GP POP doesn't support requisition management logic (you would need to implement Dynamics GP Business Portal 2010/11.0 Requisition Management module)

2. Intellisol Project Accounting Migration path. Officially after the fight with Great Plains Software Intellisol International was acquired by Work Force, you should try to track the history from that point (this was back to 2001 to our knowledge). As we could follow the rest of the story, there were no Migration module introduced for Intellisol Project Accounting to be transferred to Match Data or now native Dynamics GP Project Accounting module. If this is your case, we are happy to move you to current version of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010/11.0, 10.0, 9.0 or 8.0 via direct conversion from historical Intellisol Project Accounting tables (please note that that service requires reasonable budget, at least 30 consulting hours)
