How to Avoid Jetlag!How To Travel Safely Like A Professional

Jet lag is the state of fatigue and sleep disturbance that is resulted from disruption of the body's normal circadian rhythm. You fly internationally and cross three time zones. Eventually you feel extremely exhausted. So, you have to consider certain precautions:

O Drink plenty of water;

O Avoid taking alcohol;

O Stick to a mild diet;

O Adjust your watch to your destination's time;

O Keep your arrival schedule in mind; and

O Take some sleeping pills on your long flight.

Carry Proper Currency

When you enter a country, make sure money exchange is one of the first steps you take. Although you travel the world and become an international soul, forget about this when you enter a new country. It is not justifiable to carry USD or Euro just because you are from those parts of the world. To travel safely, you need to have the essentials handy when you need them.

If you need to have enough cash in your pocket, make sure you go to an ATM machine before you enter an ATM-free zone. In general, it is always good to have the local currency in cash to spend wherever you are. Traveler's checks may be treated with like that too. So, make sure you have thought of that ahead of time.

Of course, when it comes to spend large amounts, this is not the recommendation.

Best Is to Travel Light!

As you are spending lots of time on the go, you are not recommended to only pack the stuff you need. In particular, the amount of stuff while backpacking is very important as it could become such a nuisance when you travel around. Take the essentials with you and buy the other things you may need here and there.

Also a set of extra cloths at your backpack could be very handy for you in case the airline loses your luggage. You will be fine till it is found or you buy some other clothing items.

Don't Draw Unnecessary Attention

Some people wear expensive ornaments that are very appealing to pick-pockets. Of course, it will be useful to have a nice set of clothes for certain occasions during the trip. However, it is not recommended to wear them at any time you feel like it.

Another tip is to get dressed like locals as this way you can blend into the crowd, not stand out from it. In other words, you'd better get dressed in the same style and colors, specially when you are in remote areas where people are very conservative, traditional, etc.

Get Prepared to Be Entertained

During your trips, you may end up in places where you have no alternative but to wait. To best make use of your time, you may like to get yourself entertained. This may occur when you are waiting in the airports, train stations, bus stops, etc. What you can carry with you could be electronic books, games, etc.

Get Prepared to Learn about Destinations

Keep in mind to read and learn about the countries, regions, cities, etc before you go there. It is not only about their culture, history and traditions, You will have to learn about the weather, transportation, etc as well. How To Travel Safely Like A Professional
