Many people go diving in head first before they are properly prepared to make money online. You know that to be a professional in a certain field like being a doctor, a brick layer, an office worker, or a teacher there are prerequisites, studying to do, before you can be prepared and successful. You do not just jump right in unaware.
There are unsavoury people out there who would have you believe that it is a "Walk in the Park" and involves no more than the faith that you can just do it; the same applies to the Internet marketing industry.
Although, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind. But still, there are rules you have to follow and drawbacks you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing successful for you.
Why is that? Most people will not make a penny online and yet there are some who will make more in one month than the majority of people make in a whole year.
So "what comes first the chicken or the egg"? Well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion My answer I have no clue and I do not think many of us do either.
But one thing I do have a clue about and know for certain is that to make money online you must first have Enthusiasm for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you anticipate to make money.
Enthusiasm in this good judgment simply means that you have researched and liked the company and products or services. It is then that you convert that like (or Enthusiasm) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany Enthusiasm.
I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore enthusiasm because they can sell anything. But I am troubled about those of you who are not so well-informed at working an online business successfully.
Now, I am not trying to make anyone believe that enthusiasm is the only thing necessary. Because to be doing well you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, etc. Those things are often are trained from the company you join - but sidestep Enthusiasm and you lessen your chances for success severely.
Therefore If, you have no Enthusiasm for the company and the products and services that company provides, then you would not endeavour to do the work you are being taught.
Internet marketing does take motivation caused by Enthusiasm to get you off and running with a continued effort so that you won't stumble, this work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming.
The Internet search engines are a great resource in to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities.
The company should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Enthusiasm for. Your research into this company should uncover a business that you like and have confidence in, if you do not find it move on.
Remember when you hear that an Internet "guru" making comments like well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I'll start that business - does not sound like a decision based on anything near Enthusiasm. Do not be tempted, because as I said earlier they are skilled and can sell just about anything, without being Enthusiastic about the company products and services.
Please note: That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed, your goal is to obtain it to the point where you can sell about anything online.
To get into Internet Marketing there are a number of steps you must make before you start, but if you do not first find the right company products and services to be enthusiastic about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of aggravation instead of bringing you great achievements.
Not being enthusiastic about a company and products and services that have market proof that it will sell is a pitfall you simply must keep away from.
