In the Philippines, the current travel tax rate is 1,620 pesos (approximately $35) per person as of June 14, 2010. Children from 2 to 11 years old are eligible to apply for a huge price slash on the Philippine travel tax rates. In order to receive this benefit, one must apply for a reduced travel tax certificate.
Application for the certification may be done in either of two places. The first one is located in the DOT building along TM Kalaw Avenue in Malate, Manila. The other processing center is found in the Clark Economic Zone.
