How Can I Start to Get My Life on Track, With Financial Worries Nagging at Me

?

I certainly understand that for many people, given the constant change of the world, as well as the many pressures that we all tend to face, whether they be from family, our bosses, our work mates, and yes, the list does go on and on, we need to at some point, make a decision to manage things better. Easy to say, and a little more complex to do. I understand that, and hope to help you with some starting ideas on the best way to approach the problem of managing our lives better.

I'm not going to insult your intelligence by suggesting that a few hundred words in an article will cure your entire life problems, but I certainly am confident that by taking action on some of the ideas I present here, will massively contribute towards an improvement for you. To add further fuel to my point, you will find that when you are consistent, rather than just sporadic in your actions, you will indeed notice some massive improvement, given a little time. I liken this process to pushing a train over a coin on a rail way track. In other words, I am talking about momentum.

When you first start, you may feel that the amount of effort and work involved is not getting you any where. Just think what it was like if you had a massive shed or attic clean up? You may have been working for a few hours, and sometimes found the place looked worse than when you started. However, as you progressed through the sorting, the placing, arranging and so on, the place gradually will have improved. It may have taken a good few hours, but in time, the result would be there to see. It is a similar case to a medical operation. You may find that prior to the doctors closing the wound, the patient may have looked like they were being murdered during the operation. A strong parallel, but I think you get my point. The key here is consistency.

Now, getting to those financial worries I was talking about. It is no secret that many people are hurting, given the massive economic corrections that have rocked the word in the last number of years. In my view, whilst economic fortunes have cycles, I think a general new requirement exists, and will remain, to be more disciplined in our approach, to not only recover, but also to survive generally, and ride through future turmoil. I like to refer to personal experience, as this is one of life's best teachers. In my case, I not only embarked on a new career, but also in a new country, and had to get creative. The first step is to be consistent, as I mentioned earlier, but also to be persistent. I know you have heard it all before, but said by someone else, it can help to reinforce the point- the world's greatest inventions have sometimes taken thousands of tries before they worked. Edison has said that he knows the nine hundred and ninety nine ways not to make a light bulb. The same applies to your methods for generating an extra income, if you are running out of cash, or becoming self employed. You need to persist at what you are doing, test, and see the results, and then, amend details as necessary. This is normal, but remain persistent.

Bursts of effort are not as efficient as a consistent approach. It is vital to do this. In the same way that a moving object moves forward more easily with gained momentum, the same applies to your efforts at improving your financial situation. If you are doing this by the methods of creating a project that you are offering for sale, as an example, you will need to keep up your promotional efforts, and not slack off. If you stop, for even a few days, you will find it harder to get back to the level you were at, before you stopped. It is also a proven fact that if you maintain a habit for twenty one straight days, it forms itself better with you. In other words, be consistent, and this way, you will see the fruits of your effort more quickly, and have further gratification to continue. In a similar vain, you need to also monitor your results, and if you do not see the return you want immediately, instead of giving up, and saying it is all to hard, simply modify your approach, but keep working towards you goal. The surest way to fail is to give up, as then, you have no chance. Nothing worthwhile comes with little effort, and lasts for long. Sorry on this point, there are no shortcuts.
