This will help them prepare for the world to come and at the same time allow you to loosen the apron strings a bit. Often when kids have to assume some of the financial responsibility of college they work harder and get better grades.
It is a hard thing for parents to send their kids off to college. However, if you have taken the time to prepare your child both academically and emotionally the transition will go smoothly.
