Due to this uncommon disease in children they can have complete hair loss on the head or either they can have complete hair loss from the whole body.
Treatment: Till date there is no permanent cure for alopecia areata in children and there are no medications that are permitted for this treatment. Doctors may prescribe medications that are approved for other diseases to help hair grow back. Treatments options for alopecia areata in children typically involve an ointment or cream.
