The next major form of an online exercise program was a kind of internet forum you could go to in order to get fitness advice from people who were knowledgeable in that area. The benefit to this system was that the instruction you got could be customized which would make the instruction more effective. If you were having a particular issue or you had a specific question you could ask someone who may be able to help. This was a method I never got around to using because it did cost money to get this instruction most of the time and I was too young to pay for it. The drawback to this kind of instruction was that it lacked a way to illustrate the exercises which hindered its effectiveness. The exercises were also illustrated with pictures which was good and the workouts were slightly customized according to your goals but you didn"t actually have a trainer who was instructing you. You were just given a workout that most accurately addressed your goals. I assume these workouts were stored in a database of some kind. This was a step in the right direction because it gave some indication that online fitness services were combining some form of customization with instruction that was easy to follow. The newest form of personal training is one that combines a high degree of customization with instruction that is easy to follow. These workouts are so highly customized because they are designed by certified personal trainers in many instances. The workouts are easy to follow because not only do some of the services that offer this new age form of online personal training illustrate exercises through pictures but also through video. Some online personal training services will make all of the instruction you receive in video form. This makes your workout incredibly easy to follow. If you decide to use this form of online personal training you should be curtain to choose a service that has personal trainers who are not only certified but also has trainers who you are able to communicate with.
