What is Easy Click Commissions? Why is it so hard to rank high in the search engines? Every time I come up with a great idea it seems like there are 2 million others who have already claimed the market. Its true that Internet Marketing is extremely competitive but you should not let that deter you. I started out creating websites a few years back and eventually I crossed over into the realm of SEO. While researching new material I came across an online forum of SEO evangelists, this was back when I was joining communities just to get up-to-date-tips and secret tricks. But I found out that they didn't work as hard as me, but smarter.
Before long I had an epiphany. How are all these guys making more money than me with these generic sites. I pour my heart and soul into my websites but stand no chance in the face of a SuPa-BloG. Sure my graphics were custom and my images were optimized with PageSpeed/YSlow in mind and my keyword density was just shy of heavenly. I thought I crossed all my T's and dotted all my I's but I couldn't have been more wrong. My first masterpiece website was beat out by a WP blog using a generic theme. I was determined to figure out the magic behind this generic approach.
I was lucky enough to infiltrate a few SEO communities and get in contact with someone who was kind enough to share knowledge, this particular guy happened to be an SEO / affiliate whiz. Turns out we were both really interested in birds, blue and gold macaws to be exact. Growing up my mother raised these beautiful birds in our basement in Cleveland OH. He had a blue and gold macaw that he considered his best friend, he even taught it to say things like "Google" and "SERP". Before you knew it we were talking on the phone for a few hours a day. This was a real turning point for me. Not because his information was classified or anything like that but because he was using similar methods as me, the only difference is that he made them work. Everything started to add up. The truth behind sky rocketing in the search engines is a lot more clear to me now than its ever been. There is a mountain 10 feet ahead of me and I'm looking at it with a pair of binoculars. It wasn't until I took a step back and experienced the full picture that I started making my first sales in internet marketing.
I guess it isn't so hard to penetrate the top spot. I had to work smarter not harder. I now create websites using a simple system, its about 30 steps and can be done in a few days. I use this strategy over and over, occasionally adding new steps.
