You can book and travel with peace of mind knowing that if your selected holiday destination at Dundee Bay Villas in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, THE BAHAMAS is threatened by a hurricane, you may select from any of the three options listed below.
This protection from hurricane threat is effective immediately until December 24, 2010.
CHANGE DATE: You can change your date to commence travel on or before December 24, 2010. The hotel and room category must remain the same. If the change involves a higher holiday price, the guest will pay the higher amount between the original booking price and the revised booking price at the time of change. NO REFUND IF THE COST IS LOWER.
TRAVEL AS PLANNED: You may decide to travel as planned, if it is safe to do so. We want to ensure your vacation is a safe and enjoyable one.
CANCEL WITH A FULL REFUND: Guests who elect not to travel may cancel and receive a full refund in the form of future Travel Vouchers. Travel Insurance and airfare costs if purchased, will not be included in the refund.
You may choose any one of the three options above if the U.S. National Hurricane Centre (NHC) declares a HURRICANE WARNING within 36 hours of your scheduled stay.
In the unlikely even that you are already at your holiday destination and the National Hurricane Centre (NHC), in conjunction with the appropriate local Government, has determined that a hurricane has directly hit the area and you must be evacuated from the destination, a credit in the form of a future travel voucher will be issued for any unused nights on the accommodation.
** Future travel vouchers are valid for one year after the date of issue, have no cash value and are non-refundable and non-transferable.**
