The Crucial RealSSD C300 relies heavily on its fast SATA 6.0Gbps interface. Without the fast data-rate the SSD has a hard time keeping up with other competing drives. In most of our real-world traces the difference between the two interfaces generally had the 3.0Gbps trace at half the performance, and right near the bottom of the charts.
