CHICAGO, June 17: Doctors for Visual Freedom Laser Center is offering a discount of $1,000 per eye off their best Lasik procedure to the "American Heroes" who make our lives better and safer. This includes policemen, firefighters, paramedics, military personnel, and teachers.

With a history of more than 22,000 successful procedures, Dr. Mark Golden and his staff are fully aware of "on-the-job" vision problems faced daily by soldiers and first responders.
