Celebrate Growing Up While Your Child Still Wants To

Remember when you were younger and all you wanted to do was grow up

? And now that you've grown up, all you want is to relive those youthful days? It is important to cherish those little moments growing up that we love to recall now. For your children's sake, it is especially important to celebrate and memorialize each of their birthdays. In fact, remember when you were a kid how important it was to mention your half birthday? Remember making sure everyone knew you were 7.5, not 7? Why not celebrate those half birthdays?

There are now companies that specialize in planning and providing party supplies and themes for half birthday parties. It is important to cherish every moment of your children's lives and make each day memorable for both yourself and your children. What better way to show that you care than by celebrating your child's birthday more than once a year?

For children born right around the holidays, such as New Years or Christmas babies, birthdays are never as fun as those for children born in uneventful months. These children usually get fewer gifts and parties because people's time is already so consumed with the national holiday. Many families also do not have the money at that point in time to celebrate two momentous occasions. For this reason, a half birthday could be celebrated in June, allowing the child time to experience a true birthday celebration. This also allows you to truly enjoy the varying seasons for your child's birthday. For instance, if your child was born in the winter, their birthday may not be as exciting because their party will have to be indoors due to the weather. However, for a half birthday, during the summer, they can enjoy the sun and possibly have a party at the pool or park.

For divided families, two birthday parties are also extremely convenient. When parents are divorced, parties celebrated simultaneously may not seem as exciting for the child. For instance, if the mother celebrates the child's birthday on the actual birth day and then the father celebrates it the following day, some of the excitement will have diminished. However, for a half birthday, the child has had a full six months to recover from their original birthday party and is ready for the next one! Celebrate Growing Up While Your Child Still Wants To

To truly cherish your child's growth, and to celebrate growing old while they still want to, consider hiring a half birthday planner to celebrate your child's half birthday.
