Buffalo Bills Tickets - Vick To The Bills?

The week following the NFL's Week Nine play has been quite eventful for Philadelphia

Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, and the Buffalo Bills are at the forefront of the discussion about Vick's future. The talk about the Bills being a possible landing spot for Vick started when former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy discussed the Bills and Vick during his spot on the show Football Night in America. Dungy isn't just an analyst, as he is also a mentor to the once-maligned quarterback. Dungy is a well-respected name in the league, and he indicated that he thought Vick and the Bills could be a good fit. Dungy also revealed that the Bills had talked about adding Vick before he signed with the Eagles.

Vick recently had an interview in which he stated he would like to move on from the Eagles, as he seems to have no possibility of being a starting quarterback there. After Week Nine, Vick has appeared in six games, yet starting in none of them. He has only tried throwing the ball six times and has had 12 rushing attempts. The possibility brought mixed reactions from players in Buffalo, according to USA Today. One of the most outspoken in his response was safety Donte Whitner, who wanted the Bills to pursue Vick and said he would welcome him. Other players, like wide receiver Lee Evans, didn't think the Bills would pursue Vick, however.

Of course, bringing in Michael Vick also means dealing with his history in the league. Vick was a star quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons early in his career. Then, in 2007, Vick was charged with bankrolling a dog fighting kennel and subsequently spent more than a year in federal prison. He was released prior to the start of this season and was cleared to play by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as well as given a minor suspension. This season, he has been sitting behind starting quarterback Donovan McNabb and backup Kevin Kolb on the depth chart.

The Bills are no strangers to taking in players with PR problems. This year, they signed the troublesome wide receiver Terrell Owens. Owens hasn't been the big spark the Bills have needed, but that could be changed if they add a new quarterback. The Bills have also been plagued with injuries this season and limped into their Week Nine bye with a 3-5 record. This season may continue to be a struggle for the Bills, but Vick could help their possibilities in 2010. Even in losses, the Bills continue to show they have the potential for greatness. Buffalo Bills tickets are still coveted by fans, and tickets are available online.

The possibility of signing with the Bills isn't the only news for Vick. A federal appeals court recently ruled in his favor, allowing him to keep over $16 million in bonuses from when he was with the Atlanta Falcons. That may be one of the only bright spots financially for Vick, as he has been dealing with losing endorsements and income while he was incarcerated.
