By providing them with free electricity monitors and regular reminders of checking their meter readings, British gas is doing its level best to encourage its customers to save up to 150 on duel fuel.
Furthering to the customers interest, by facilitating payment of energy bills on monthly basis, British Gas enables families to plan their monthly budgets in a better manner rather than waiting for the end of the quarter period for the energy bills and pay larger amounts.
At present energy suppliers are supposed to take meter readings meter reading only every two years which is highly inaccurate and leads to discrepancy in actual energy consumption and meter readings, hence most customers could be paying more despite low energy consumption.
