Breeze is an alternative to online banking that was developed by the Standard Chartered Bank of Singapore
. It is presently only available in Singapore and Malaysia but will soon be available in Hong Kong and India. Money management is a jiffy when you sign on to use Breeze.

For customers who qualify as Preferred Banking customer, this program provides incredible value. The criteria for qualification includes maintaining deposits and/or investments of RM72,000 at minimum or RM400,000 in the form of a mortgage loan, at minimum, or having a minimum income of RM72,000 in coordination to securing a Preferred World MasterCard credit card and opening a Preferred M2 account with Standard Chartered Bank.
A prime example of this is the eStatements, which are available for both online and Breeze mobile banking applications. For customers to take advantage of the eStatement offering, they would need to visit the bank's website, complete the required form, and then submit it. Once the form has been submitted, the bank would make a notation to that customer's profile, stopping all paper statements in the future.
Known officially as the Preferred Banking Relationship Rewards program, online and mobile banking customers using the website and/or Breeze application would have the opportunity to benefit from this program as long as standards are met. This exclusive program is loaded with benefits, the same way Breeze provides a laundry list of value added features.
Instead of the conventional statement received in the mail each month or quarter, bank customers would receive current account information via the iPhone or iPad associated with the Breeze mobile banking application. Obviously, using a mobile banking application such as this to view statements makes it possible for information to be looked at any time wanted and from virtually anywhere in the world.
One way the online and mobile banking rewards program works is with spending. For instance, if a customer spends between RM1 and RM1,499 one Choice Point would be applied for each RM1 spent. However, when this type of account is opened, customers are offered 30,000 points when the first transaction is completed. Then as mentioned, points also accumulate for maintaining certain levels of money in a savings or investment account. Every point earned is credited to the Preferred credit card for easy access.
After points have accumulated to a certain level, customers would be able to look through the Preferred Banking Rewards catalog to buy merchandise. Obviously, the more a customer allows the points to accumulate, the better and more expensive item could be purchased with the redemption of points. Some of these include branded gadgets such as electronics, which are always popular. Because credit card payments can be made through the Standard Chartered Bank online or using Breeze, the mobile banking application that runs on iPhone, as well as purchases made through other merchants, points accumulate quickly if the Preferred World MasterCard is utilized to the fullest.
