Dr. Emmett Brown tells Marty McFly in the first Back to the Future film, "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads." Indeed they don't as they pass easily across decades. In the second movie, Doc Brown and Marty are headed to October 15, 2015 in their DeLorean time machine. Five years from now, it's possible we could have flying cars. But not probable.
