Look for cantilever bunks where you can have a chest of drawers or small wardrobe underneath the top bed as well as the lower bed coming out at right angles. They make good use of limited space. How about a futon? It has a top bunk bed with a futon below that converts to a double bed for guests. A great space saving idea is the loft bed. The elevated bed allows space underneath for a desk, book shelf and a chest of drawers, or simply a play area. Some feature a futon which can be used for guest sleepovers.
