All Children Wants To Be Toilet Trained As Soon As Possible
Critics today suggest that Potty training should begin as soon as the child can control it's bowel movement
and your child can get to and from the bath room and tries to get undressed.
There are no universal guidelines for how and when to begin the procedure of potty training. Some signs off readiness include:
1. Your child can follow simple instructions.
2. Movements become regular and predictable
3. Your child can get to and from the bathroom and remove soiled diaper
4. Child becomes uncomfortable with dirty diapers and tries to remove them.
5. Child asks to use toilet or potty chair.
6. and generally is ready for potty training.
Keep in mind that most children do not gain control of bowel movement generally until from 12 to 15 months of age.
Also, diapers can greatly increase the risks of infections, especially in girls for very obvious reasons. although there are no universal guidelines for how and when to begin the process of toilet training.
It is the parents responsibility to provide a potty chair early ( from 8 to 10 months )so the child can become familiar with the potty chair and they may start using it by standing on it to increase their reach, or just using it for a seat to sit in and watch TV or they may just drag or push it all over the residence.
The sooner the parent provides the potty chair, the earlier your child will use it. Never discount your child's intelligence.
When you start toilet training keep in mind that everything may become a battle of wills.
Obviously, very little research has been done on potty training because of the access difficulty. Also, there is no official definition of what it means to be toilet trained and there are no universal guidelines for when and how to start the process.
Positive reinforcement can be good, but try not to be overdramatic because if the child feels that toilet training is so important to mom and pop that they jump up and down, it may put to much pressure on the child and may cause them to regress.
In either case, good common sense judgements are the order of the day keeping in mind the (6) six signs of readiness presented above. when you try to potty train your child when their age is 8 to 10 months of age.
