You can begin to save money today even if you are a student
. There is no need to contest the fact that school life means real fun to lots of students. We were all there at one point or the other in our lives.
I remember how we all looked up to Friday nights out, the parties, the movies, the grooving and lots of fun activities. It is basics that we must study for our exams and classes but the memories of the university days fun usually lasts for a very long time.
It is now that I looked back and realized that students really waste a lot of money just because they want to have as much fun as they could. Think of the nice cloth you bought recent just for a one night party. What about the drinks you bought every weekend for your friends.
We could have saved lots of money in school if we have the kind of knowledge we have today but you can save money today as a student if you are reading this right now. The money saving processes is even so stress-less that you would begin to wonder why you haven't thought them earlier.
To save money today, you have to start by planning. You should have a personal budget where all the expenses such as you tuition, textbooks, feeding, accommodation and so on would be taken care of.
You will then look at the extra and see if some little shopping will be included, then add a bit of fund for partying if your budget can also take-in that.
Doing this will help you to sort out the things that are very essential and those that are mere secondary. If any if any of them have an option that is cheaper, go for it and keep aside the extra money for other needs. Doing these things sound so easy but majority of the students always overlook them.
You can save money today as a student but you have to know the things you can live without and stop wasting monies on them. For example, you can live without every weekend partying e.t.c.
You can also save money today by learning to share certain things in school. Why not carpool with your friends instead of fueling you car daily for classes? You may also consider renting CDs movies together with your friends or even cooking in group to save cost.
If you have seniors and friends who had passed your present class, you can ask them to lend you the text books they used while in your class. You also save money today by going to the library to lend some of the most expensive textbooks. Depending of how frequent you need the textbook, it might probably be cheaper for you to borrow it from the library.
You can also save money today in school by gathering all the old textbooks, t-shirts, CDs, DVDs and so on for some fun 'don sale!' You will have good fun with friends that will gather and will also have some cash at the end of the day.
If you have some free time, during holidays, you are advised to take up some part-time job. It is much better than visiting and partying although.
