A Day Trip In Barcelona
If you fancy a day trip with a twist, why not jump on an early morning flight from London Stansted airport to the Spanish city of Barcelona

There are two tours, one that covers the north of Barcelona and one that covers the south. Sights covered by the tour include Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, Gothic Quarter Olympic Village and Barcelona football club's stadium Camp Nou. If you are tired after all the sight seeing why not relax on one of Barcelona's golden beaches. There are 4.2km of sandy beaches just 10 minutes from the city centre. The beach offers a range of activities including windsurfing, kite surfing and of course swimming.
Whatever you do with your time in Barcelona, make sure you walk along La Rambla. A street in the centre of Barcelona's old city, La Rambla is one of Barcelona's best known landmarks. The street meanders from Pl. de Catalunya to the Columbus statue and is filled with newspaper kiosks, animal and flower stalls and a range of artists. The street is often full of tourists and locals alike as it offers lots of small restaurants and bars, where you can have a traditional meal and pleasant evening, before you catch your late flight home.
