You've had your dream wedding, the vows have been exchanged and the guests have all gone away happy so it's now time to cap things off perfectly with a romantic honeymoon. While not everyone is lucky enough to get to take one, for those who do, there are a multitude of hot spots out there that all hold a different type of appeal and a different price tag to go with it. For these purposes, 3 of the best getaways with regards to the sand and sea can be found all across the globe. The first place to highlight is the Hawaiian Islands. Prices for tropical retreats here are generally considered middle of the road and the other benefit is that, if you live in the USA, they don't take an overly long time to get to. For a beach retreat there are the five star resort hotels that offer amenities such as pools and spas as well as every water sport imaginable. For the male golf aficionado there are five star courses to enjoy and for the female there are a substantial amount of outlets available for the avid shopper. The Sandals Antigua Resort and Spa is the perfect couples retreat with all inclusive packages that encourage the adult only surroundings as well as a lively nightlife to partake of. Basically, the hotel is set up to be the best of both worlds in that it feels secluded and remote while offering the traditional amenities of an upscale hotel. Of course, the pool and spa areas are an oasis unto themselves, and if that isn't romantic enough, couples can order one of the signature drinks from the bar and watch the sun set on the private balcony of their very own honeymoon retreat.
