. Taking a time off from a hectic life and going off somewhere to spend some quality time with friends and family always sounds appealing. It can be any form of traveling from going on a holiday to put up our feet and relax to touring a place to take in its beauty and other advantages and it can also be on business. Though it is a relaxing time, it is also a time to be practical to avoid any sort of tension during the time. Advance planning is required so that travelling can be made as smooth as possible; this can be done by carrying a few mandatory things always.First are the things that are required for a comfortable travel. For me, traveling should be a relaxing time where I can let my thoughts fly freely and ponder on things for which I never had time previously. So, I carry a couple of things that helps me in travelling comfortably. First and foremost is a good solid plastic bag or zip loc, one never knows when travel sickness will attack. It is always best to be safe rather than sorry. A bottle of water is always important; there might be places where there will not be any water available. Next are the eye covers and ear plugs to avoid hearing loud snores and kids fretting while sleeping in the nights! First aid is another important thing, make sure there are all the necessary medications put into the baggage especially if there are kids who are allergic to a few things or who cannot adapt to change in weather easily, the medications comes in handy for first-aid during these scenarios.
Next are the vanity things. Traveling light is equally important as the mandatory things required for travel. Instead of carrying huge bottles of conditioners, shampoos and detergents, shift them in to small bottles so that the place that these things occupy is reduced to a great measure. Carrying a portable wash line is also useful for those who dont like to give their clothes for laundry. It can be placed anywhere and the clothes can be dried. Hand sanitizer is another important commodity for travelling. There may not be water available everywhere and it helps in keeping hands clean especially for those who are fanatic about cleanliness. Wet wipes are also handy with which cameras, public phones and even seats can be cleaned without getting the hands dirty.
Next is a small sewing kit to temporarily repair a tear or stitch a button that has popped off. Other usual common things that are required are sun blocks, towels, bathing suits, umbrella, shower caps, guide books, camera, a small note book, cell phones, etc all these depending upon the type of travel. Though cameras are not mandatory, it is always nice to capture the fun moments of life.
Thus, these things not only help in a more comfortable travel, but also reduce worries during travel. It is good to be prepared for any eventualities and not taken by surprise when going to an new or unknown place when there is no assurance that a particular I available. At the same time, extreme paranoia is also no required which prompts people too carry too many unnecessary things that are not even required during travel. So, travel with things that are necessary and at the same time travel lightly.
