It allows lots of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their time relaxing on the beach. The sea oats that line the beach are abundant and pleasant to look at. You will also find that the beach offers something for everyone. Joggers enjoy running on the beach because the sand is packed well. The hard sand even allows for bike riding along the ocean side. Children will not be disappointed, because even though the sand is well packed it is still soft enough to build sand castles.
World class golfing has avid golfers coming to Hilton Head again and again. Hilton Head Island has 23 golf courses, all of which are astonishingly beautiful. Golfers find themselves taking in the fantastic weather on Hilton Head while enjoying a little friendly competition among friends. If you have a golfer in your family, then a Hilton Head vacation is sure to make them happy!
Even though there are many resorts in Hilton Head you will still find an abundance of wildlife. Dolphin watching will be one of your favorite memories from your Hilton Head vacation. Some of the best places to watch the dolphins play are at Forest Beach and the Palmetto Dunes. You will also find other species of wildlife on the island including, alligators, turtles, water birds and deer. This makes Hilton Head a great place for nature lovers as well.

Tennis is also very popular in Hilton Head. You will find that there are more than 300 tennis courts on the Island. All of them welcome different skill levels. If you are interested in taking a tennis lesson or even just getting some pointers while on your Hilton Head vacation, you should visit a tennis club. There are also many tennis clubs on the island. Seven of them are available for public use. If you just want to mess around or play with the kids try checking out one of the local parks in Hilton Head. The kids can enjoy the playground while mom and dad try their hand on the tennis courts.
