Rugby league football or rugby is a sport played using strength, speed, and agility. Because of this, rugby is generally assumed to be a sport played exclusively by men. But this assumption no longer holds water these days. Women can do what men can, and sometimes, they can do even better!

Being tackled, charged, and battered by other players is inherent in the sport. Two teams, composed of thirteen players each, would be given an oval shaped ball to handle. The aim of the game is to send the ball to the opponent's goal line to score a point. It only sounds easy on paper, but it's not. This is because the rival team would do their best to prevent you from scoring. They would tackle you, charge, and get "physical" with you just to stop you from scoring a point.

Although the game of rugby is physical in nature, accidents happen only occasionally, which is atypical for such a full contact sport. This is because players tend to be more cautious of injuries because of the lack of safety gear like helmets and pads. Moreover, rules are designed to minimize the possibility of suffering injuries. Women are encouraged to participate in this game, and there are organizations that sponsor rugby leagues for women.

A women's rugby league is an organization for women who love playing rugby. It plays the same function as a men's rugby league, except that it is for women. This club is established to facilitate the participation of women who want to take part in rugby tournaments, including those held abroad. Just like in other sports, there are rugby cups which occur annually and seasonally.

Women have "invaded" the world of sports, one sport at a time starting with basketball, wrestling, rugby, etc. In the world of women's rugby, the most well-known of all women's rugby cups is the Women's Rugby League World Cup. First held in Great Britain, the most recent cup was held in 2008 in Australia.

These rugby games welcome women as much as they welcome men. Every field or sport has a division where only women are allowed to take part. It is only their right to participate in the same activities men do. After all, women play a big role in human history.
