It is a must-see when you travel to Seville. You can stand in the same area where many monarchs lived and ruled over the many years that the structures have been in place.
You will also want to visit the Torre del Oro, which was a dynasty built as a watchtower on the river, today it is above the water and definitely worth checking out. You will find many museums while in Seville including The Army Museum, The Carriages Museum, the Flamenco Art Museum, and The Bullfight Museum, to name a few.
