The distance from Pune to Nagpur by rail is 1002 km. The trains cover this distance in about 18 hours.
Travel by road is popular in this route. There are regular bus services by Maharashtra State Transport Corporation (MSRTC) and private bus operators. Recently MSRTC had launched a Volvo A/c bus service from Pune to Nagpur (and back). The fare for this trip is Rs.1210.
