Therefore simply forget about a diet that completely excludes fats.

Skip breakfast

The breakfast is the most important meal for the day. It charges the body with energy for the rest of the day, it accelerates metabolism and prevents starving until lunch when we eat much larger portion due to the increased appetite.

Starving yourself

A diet doesn't mean skipping meals, or eating as little as possible. Drastic reduction of calories is unhealthy, it stresses organism too much and surprisingly even slows down metabolism. A diet should be a controlled and balanced nutritional plan, so that your weight loss is as healthy as possible.

Going on a celebrity diet or doing yo-yo dieting

Celebrity diets are very common and popular, however we should not forget the fact that celebrities have their crew of people taking care of their health and figure. Sometimes they have to lose lots of pounds and sometimes even to put on weight. And this is usually combined with drastic diets that later become extremely popular only because they were used by a celebrity. That is why celebrity dieting should be avoided. The same should be done also with yo-yo diets, also known as crash diets. They usually promise fast results, but in fact they are so drastic and unhealthy, that they lead to returning of all the lost pounds, and sometimes gaining even more.

Not drinking enough water

Water is extremely necessary when dieting. A risk of de-hydratation usually exists while dieting. Some diets, which are high in protein also can harm kidneys if you don't drink enough water. And make sure you don't replace water with coffee or juices juices contain sugars, and coffee has other disadvantages. Make sure you drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day when dieting in order to provide the necessary quantity of liquids for your body.
