Halloween party are sure to last for weeks and months afterward. Although it is the middle of summer, it is never too early to start thinking about hosting your own spectacularly spooky Halloween party for your friends and family.
While there are endless options for
costumes, there are equally as many choices when it comes time to send out invitations for your monster mash. If you would like to take a more cartoonish route, try to find invites that feature a grinning jack-o-lantern or friendly- looking ghosts beckoning your perspective guests to attend. On the other hand, Halloween is one of the few times of the year where being frightened is not only warranted, but expected, and taking a scary approach to the announcements could be a good choice. Sending out cards that have a more fiendish face carved in a pumpkin would be sure to make the recipients heart jump.
Perhaps more than any other celebration, Halloween calls for elaborate decorations. So, you need to go all out when it comes to this. Placing a graveyard backdrop around your house is a fantastic way to set a creepy mood. For fans of slasher films, a zombie hand toilet topper is a great way to satiate their apatite for the genre. Decorations aren't just limited to inside, though. Let anybody who's know driving by that you're having a terrifically terrifying time by placing a light up lawn skeleton in the front yard. For a final touch, add some dungeon props like torches or a creepy stairway winding mysteriously in to the distance.
Although decorating your party is a necessity, there are a number of supplies you'll need as well. For starters, you will need to impress your guests with a costume. If you're looking for a funny way to dress up, a banana outfit is a wonderful idea. For attire that will send chills up your spine, donning a scary mask may be all you need. With the rest of your guests in costume, some may get hot and are certain to get thirsty, so keep drinks cool with an inflatable skeleton cooler. Your guest are sure to get a kick out of being handed a beverage by a bag of bones. Plates, napkins, cups and plasticware that have pictures of cobwebs with a spider or two on them should be provided when your guests get hungry.
