Laboratory Procedure:

The technician will pour the impression provided. After making the die model, die opening and articulating, it will go straight to wax up department. But before starting the wax up, the technician will survey first to check where the part of insertion located is or else the secondary crown will not fit at all. Crowns must be parallel. The primary crowns or caps made of precious or non precious dental alloys that will be cemented on the prepped teeth.

Telescopic crown is not ordinary one. It undergoes in a very meticulous procedure.

After making the primary crown, laboratory will return it to the dentist to make the first step which is fitting the primary and making the pick-up impression. Once it is done, the dentist will give to the laboratory the impression tray where in the primary crowns are attached on it to make the secondary part. The secondary crowns (dental alloys) are crowns slipping over the primary caps and thus maintaining the bridge through sliding friction tight on the teeth. Technicians will milled the primary then will cover it with resin, trimmed according to its size needed and put some retention beads on facing area. This will help to hold the acrylic plastic resin.

After casting of secondary crown, you are ready to make the chrome cobalt plate also framework . This is made out of non-precious alloy. This will be use to connect the secondary crown and support the acrylic teeth which will replace the missing teeth.

* maintenance, repairs and extension can be easily done at low costs

In case of tooth loss there is no need to make a new bridge. The framework can be easily extended within minutes. A fixed bridge or an implant supported bridge would need an expensive complete renewal.
