One of the most popular villages to visit in Suffolk is the medieval town of Lavenham, a place steeped in history dating back to the 14th century when it was famous for exporting its famous broadcloth to destinations as far away as Russia and North Africa.
Its also rare to find a village that still retains its heritage, over 300 listed buildings, but the village of Lavenham does, in abundance and its easy to imagine how the village looked so many years ago as some of the timber framed houses still exist, lining the High Street where they look as if they are almost defying gravity, twisting and leaning in the most peculiar fashion.
