RCI Weeks Membership
As a RCI weeks Member, you will belong to one of the world's largest vacation-exchange communities. RCI's commitment to you is to make your vacation ownership the best experience possible by offering you a high degree of flexibility. Your membership allows you to participate in the RCI weeks exchange system, so you can spend your vacation time at over 4000 RCI affiliated resorts around the world and access other vacation services and benefits, such as cruise vacations and rental opportunities, at special RCI member-only rates.
How to use your RCI Weeks membership - Easy as One, Two, Three:
1. The first step is to deposit your week. You can do this up to 2 years in advance of when you are going to use it or as late as 14 days before your vacation begins. The sooner you deposit your week, the more options you have, more time to plan and properties to choose from.
2. Next, begin to search for your dream vacation. Focus on the type of vacation experience you want, letting this take precedence over the location. RCI's online directory will assist you to gather information on member resorts and help you to find details, pictures and helpful member reviews of resorts you think you might like to try.
3. Finally, confirm your exchange and go enjoy yourself! It's literally that easy. You can exchange your week online if needed. You will receive written confirmation from RCI once you have completed the process.
RCI Points Membership
Your initial purchase is assigned a corresponding points value, this is determined by several factors such as supply and demand, location, type of unit, the time of the year, and what other RCI members have said about the location. Your points accessibility starts at the beginning of your year of points usage.
Once you receive your allotment of RCI Points, they can be exchanged for reservations at either points or weeks resorts, or with RCI Points Partners for hotels, rental cars, cruises, airfare or entertainment. With a points membership you are able to stay at more than 4000 resorts in more than 100 countries. You can stay for as short as 1 night or as long as you like, based upon availability and the number of points in your account. And - you may select both the type and size of the unit you want.
You can save the points you haven't used for the following year and let them rollover as long as you have performed at least one exchange transaction. If you haven't performed an exchange for any of your RCI Points in your current year, you can save them for a nominal fee. If you need more points in the current year you can borrow points against your point balance for the upcoming year. Additional points can also be rented from RCI if needed in small qualities to complete an exchange request.
RCI members can transfer points to another member and can also make use of special vacation packages and not touch any of their points. These packages are at special rates for RCI members. Cruises are available for points exchange or for purchase at special rates. With hundreds of travel and leisure companies that are RCI points partners, you may choose to receive an RCI Elite Awards Credit Card which offers additional benefits, and a subscription to Endless Vacation Magazine which is included with your membership. Additionally, guest certificates are available to give to your family and friends. And that's not all! RCI members have cancellation protection, auto-renewal billing and travel agency services available to them, along with tailor made vacation activities that can be booked at the RCI location that you are staying at.
