After Bogota, the capital of Colombia. Medellin is the second largest city in terms of population and economy. It is also known as the Industrial Capital of Colombia but due to its magnificent beauty this city has been given several nicknames like "Ciudad de la Etema Primavera" meaning City of Everlasting Spring, "Ciudad de la Flores" meaning the city of flowers, "La Bella Villa" meaning the beautiful village and "Tacita de Plata" meaning Little silver cup. All these nice names show the affection and love of people towards their beautiful city. The beauty of this city attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world.
Medellin is not only a popular tourist destination due to its magnificent beauty flora and fauna but also has a very well repute in the field of health and medicine. Medellin city has a very well developed transport system. It is the only city in Colombia that has two transportation terminals the North Transportation Terminal and the South Transportation Terminal.
