Marrakesh Tourist Guide

Marrakesh is undoubtedly one of the places to consider when you are planning for an adventure vacation

. In order for you to have the best opportunity to spend your time wisely in this city, and indeed, the whole of Morocco, there are a number of things you need to know in advance.

While it is true that you will find some things in Marrakesh that are available in other parts of the world, there are others that are unique to this city, which makes it special. This ancient Imperial city is also known as the 'Red City'.

There are many things that you can enjoy in Marrakesh, from drinking mint tea to watching snake charmers. Although you can shop anywhere, doing so in the Souks will leave you with an unforgettable experience. Souk simply means a market or at least a commercial quarter found in an Arab city. You will find a wide variety of items in the Souks, among which are rugs, hand woven shawls, silk scarves, brass lamps, as well as gold and silverware. Other special items are smooth tadelakt bowls in various shades of sky-blue, purple, jet black and ox blood red.

Of course, you will only be able to enjoy the numerous Marrakesh adventures when you have a good place to stay in. If you enjoy pampering yourself with luxury, there are five-star hotels that you can go to. You may also choose to stay in a boutique hotel, known as Riad. Alternatively, you can opt for some reclusive experience at a traditional Riad. There are also some Riads in the outskirts of the city that you can stay at.

It is a good idea to do an online search to compare different hotel amenities and prices before you embark on your journey. You will certainly find a place that suits your personal preferences.

Once you have a suitable place to stay, you will need to know the places where you should hang out. If you would like a combination of sophistication and relaxation, then the Nikki Beach is an ideal destination. The palm trees add to the beauty of the beach, where you will enjoy both the sun and breeze, which carries scents of exotic perfumes. You will have a great time at the beach both during the day and at night.

Another place that will give you a great nightlife experience is Pacha. The party atmosphere is pretty cool and you will enjoy some special meals. There are several other places where you can enjoy the special local cuisine.

Marrakesh also gives you a good opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the whole of Morocco. A number of tribes from different ethnic groups have occupied this place since time immemorial. Each tribe has its own cultural traditions that make it unique.

You will have the opportunity to see special architectural structures and learn even more from the museums. Just make sure that your camera has enough memory or film!
