The island of Hvar is not only beautiful, it is amazing and surrounded by numerous nautical hot spots, one can say that it is a nautical paradise

Hvar has become well known and a famous destination on every nautical chart because of its huge number of maritime heritage, beautiful nature and comfortable Hvar apartments ( http://www.hvar-apartments-center.com )There are great weather conditions for great sailing trips. One very attractive place to dock at is ACI PALMIANA:
Palmiana is the name of the marina on the island of St. Clement ( this island is a part of the Hell's islands). This marina is the most fancy one on this part of Dalmatia. It is a place where people want to be seen. The marina is located on the property of the family Meneghello, who planted Pine trees on the island of St.Clement. The marina is 2.4 miles away from the city of Hvar. The bay offers a secure protection from wind and waves. You can visit and dock at he marina from April till October and has 160 berths, of course equipped with electricity and water supply. There are also more facilities offered inside the marina: reception, exchange office, caffe bar, sanitary facilities and a small supermarket. The nearest gas and fuel pump is the city harbour of Hvar. The marina is connected with the city of Hvar by taxi boats during July and August.So you can take a taxi boat to reach the city Hvar and there you can take a ferry to visit Split very easy and relaxed. The ferry cast of from the city of Hvar or Starigrad several times per day.

The second great place is the HARBOUR OF CITY HVAR:
These anchorages are offered by the city of Hvar directly at the port of Hvar. Docked at this place means that you can enjoy the day and night life of the city and the great atmosphere. The port of the city Hvar offers a berth which is paid by the landfill. All berths are equipped with energy and water supply. There are also several services available like garaging and repairing of boats and yachts. There is a gas/fuel station not far away from this port.
