They're good for kids learning French too, because they have an even shorter attention span than us!
The better free French lessons online are a good introduction to the language. For children learning French they are just as useful as they are for adults, and the whole family can use them together.
Moving on from learning simple French to becoming confident in the language probably means you'll be investing in CDs or a French software download. Here again, the good ones are terrific, keeping it interesting and involving so it doesn't become a chore.
