Finest Wines And Gourmet Food At San Diego Bay Wine And Food Festival
Come November and the whole of downtown San Diego witnesses an action packed week of activities for foodies and wine lovers
. The San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival is the largest wine and culinary event which celebrates great gourmet food and wines from almost 170 renowned wineries and spirit producers. Founded by Ken Loyst and Michelle Metter; the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival has been taking place every year since 2004. This year the event would take place from November 18 to 22.Presented by World of Wine Events, LLC; this five day wine and food features a lost of activities including wine tastings, cooking classes, wine tasting classes, live and silent auctions and Chef of the Fest competition. A large number of personalities grace the event ranging from winemakers, cookbook writers, television stars, world renowned chefs and experts from the media.

For wine lovers, the San Diego Bay Wine and Food festival is a paradise where sommeliers and wine enthusiasts get to sample more than 700 of finest wines from over 170 wine and spirit brewers. Apart from sampling wines, wine enthusiasts can get chance to rub shoulders with world's most renowned winemakers such as Jon Emmerich of Silverado Vineyards, Bart Barthlemy, Stephen Kroener, Tyler Heck, Michael Richmond and many more.
Culinary delights
At the San Diego Bay Wine and Food festival, food lovers get the chance to relish on mouth-watering culinary delights cooked and served by the best of the culinary world such as James Beard Award-winning chefs and other world renowned chefs. Tickle your senses with delicious food samples prepared by 70 of San Diego's most noted chefs. You can also savor lip-smacking gourmet cuisine from San Diego's major food establishments. Food lovers also get the opportunity to meet chefs up, close and personal and truly experience the finest of culinary delights.
The food and wine extravaganza also offer a variety of cooking and wine tasting classes by sommeliers, winemakers, finest chefs and culinary personalities. A Chef of the Fest competition also takes place in which chefs compete and are judged by eminent celebrity chefs, cookbook authors and wine and food experts from the media.

The week long festival takes place throughout the downtown San Diego at several different venues such as San Diego Wine & Culinary Center, Macys School of Cooking, Embarcadero Marina Park North behind Seaport Village and others .
