Bad Carbs Make You Fat!are You Ready For A Fat Loss Diet?

Millions of people have a weight problem, including me

. We are overweight and becoming fatter everyday. Is this happening to you? Do you have a weight problem? Is fat building up around your middle? Are you looking for a fat loss plan or do you intend to keep getting bigger and bigger?

The junk food we eat is making us fat. Junk food is full of bad carbohydrates. We have forgotten our basic nutrition course where bad carbohydrates and good carbohydrates were defined. We discovered at an early age that junk foods tasted good and never gave any thought to fat content, sugar content, calories or carbohydrates at all!

Fast food and junk food seems to be the food of choice nowadays. We fill up on them and we eat them again at the next meal!

If we remembered our basic nutrition course from high school, we would recall we are suppose to eat food from all of the different food groups. Carbohydrates is only one of those groups, but it is the one that is so addictive. Junk food can hook you on carbohydrates, the bad ones. Carbohydrates have two subgroups: bad and good. Bad Carbohydrates are found in fast foods and we eat whatever we want that tastes good to us. Junk food seems to fill that bill!

Now in our adult years, we woke up and we are fat. We have to lose weight, especially lose the spare tire around our middle. The belly fat is the worst thing because medical experts say belly fat leads to heart disease. We must start eating to generate fat loss, and lose our belly if we want to live!

We can blame carbohydrates for the predicament we are in, but once again, we have forgotten there are two types of carbohydrates: good and bad. What we must do is avoid the bad ones. The bad ones are in junk foods, so we must avoid junk foods!

The good carbohydrates provide your body with the nutrition and energy it needs to function. The type of carbohydrate you are eating makes a difference. There are some you can eat and some you should avoid!

Let's take a look at the difference between bad and good carbohydrates then you can determine which you should eat and which to avoid.

1. Bad carbohydrates

Do you know processed foods have a lot of carbohydrates? They are the type of carbohydrates you should not eat! All the processing of the carbohydrates cause them to lose their nutrition. All that is left is empty calories and they will make you fat!

Examples of some of bad carbohydrates are chips, white bread, pasta, white rice, soft drinks, cakes, biscuits, candies, etc. You should never eat these foods! If you are serious about losing weight, then you should not eat these foods.

In addition, most processed foods contain lots of sugar, which is chock full of calories! The more sugar you eat, the more weight you gain and the fatter you become! These foods have little or no nutritional value. They have very little fiber content and are easily converted by your body into fat.

You do not need more fat! You need to eat foods that create fat loss!

Apart from weight gain, eating processed foods regularly can cause diabetes. Your blood sugar levels increase greatly and it becomes extremely difficult for insulin produced by your body to control it!

Pay heed to this information on good carbohydrates so you understand how they benefit your body.

2. Good carbohydrates

What are good carbohydrates? I thought there was no such thing! Good carbohydrates can be found in natural foods, such as raw fruits, vegetables, legumes, seeds, whole meal pasta, wholegrain wheat, etc. These foods contain carbohydrates , but they are not the ones that make you fat! These are slow carbohydrates that take a long time for the body to digest.

Unlike the carbohydrates in processed foods, that can readily be digested by the body and then turned straight into fat, these slow carbohydrates contain a lot of fiber! Fiber fills you up and keeps you from being hungry for a long time. If there was a natural way to suppress your appetite, slow carbohydrates is it!

Remember not all carbohydrates are bad. Making the right decision, eating the slow carbohydrates, can result in quick weight loss!
