To celebrate the Summer Season, Atlantis, the Palm (Dubai hotel) has launched a summer

rate package that enables guests to enjoy a summer getaway in one of the most iconic worldwide destinations. Starting from 9 May and running through 8 September 2010, guests can benefit from a special rate starting from AED 895 per room, per night including a long list of complimentary activities to ensure the perfect holiday getaway for the entire family.

Younger resort guests can enjoy one complimentary day at the Atlantis Kids Club (11am-6pm) which offers daily supervised activity programmes with a focus on adventure, play, exploration and education where the entire resort acts as a playground for kids, including the fish hospital at the marine habitat.

For the older kids, there is one complimentary day at Club Rush (8amMidnight), the fully supervised 'No Adults' private club. Atlantis recognises the importance of treating teenagers as young adults and has created an entire part of the resort exclusively for this age group providing a haven for them to socialise in a first in Dubai. They can watch movies, hang out in the music lounge area, make use of the latest games and consoles in the game zone or catch up on emails at the internet lounge.

Slip and slide through the world of the best AQUAVENTURE in Dubai with unlimited complimentary access to the regions largest waterpark as a hotel guest. Guests can also enjoy scheduled daily Guided Back of House Tours and experience it through the eyes of an Aquarist. Led by a Navigator a fully qualified guide, guests above the age of 6 experience first hand some of the elements involved in caring for the marine life nestled in the underground tunnels and passageways of The Lost Chambers.

For those seeking the ultimate thrill, a Cownose Ray Feeding at the Mesopotamian-styled Ziggurat in AQUAVENTURE, the resorts spectacular waterscape, is the definitive feeding experience. Guests (up to 6 guests per feeding) join an Aquarist in the shallow waters of the Shark Lagoon for a 35 minute hands-on experience. Guests learn about the anatomy of these graceful species while the hungry rays emerge for their tasty treats. The minimum age for this experience is 6 years old and children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Guests should be prepared to get wet during this encounter. The Ray Feeding can be enjoyed for AED175 for resort guests and for day visitors the latter are also required to purchase admission to AQUAVENTURE. Swimming attire is required as wetsuits are not provided.

Ideally situated within the resort, The Atlantis Dive Centre enables guests to enjoy a new underwater world in one of the most iconic destination resorts. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or an advanced diver, the accredited PADI 5 star Atlantis Dive Centre offers a number of exciting dive programmes to suit all ages. For non-divers, guests can also enjoy sunset cruises and take in the breathtaking surroundings of Dubais famous landmarks and The Palm Jumeirah.

For those children looking for an exclusive experience at the Atlantis Kids Club, 3 Special Camps are being offered from 13 June to 11 August 2010 every Sunday through Wednesday, alternated on a bi-weekly basis from 9am-5pm. At the Atlantis Kids Club, everyday is an adventure with The Day Camp. Kids can climb two rock climbing walls, get involved with producing and acting at the theatre, try their hand at the creation zone for arts and crafts sessions, or test their gaming skills at the Command Centre. The Command Centre features the latest technology, including 15 IMAC computers, 7 flat screen TVs complete with Xbox, PS3 and Nintendo Wii, all offering fun and age appropriate games. Kids will also get the chance to demonstrate their artistic talents with The Superstar Camp - kids can dress up like a Hollywood star, master their baking skills or display their painting abilities in the art gallery.

The Aqua Camp is full of fun and exploration with various activities on offer such as daily trips to Aquaventure, Dolphin Bay and The Lost Chambers where they will get an exclusive tour and participate in feedings of some of the 65,000 marine animals that call Atlantis home.
