When we go on holiday, often we are so excited to be in a new destination
, see new things and do new things that we fill our days with activities to do and places to see. There is nothing wrong with this, but you're on holidays. What happened to doing nothing but sitting by the beach and watching the sunset with a loved one?So the next time you are on holiday, here are 4 things not to do on your next holiday:
1. Don't go to a theme park - Let's face it, theme parks can be awesome. But it can also be a long day and very costly by the time you add up transport, entrance fees, food and souvenirs. Leaving the theme park out of your holiday will give you back a whole day but to sit back and relax, not to mention you will save yourself a bunch of cash as well.
2. Don't go to McDonalds - You would be surprised how many people go to McDonalds to eat when they are on holiday. The ease and comfort of knowing what the food will be is just an easy option for most instead of trying the local cuisine. For that matter, any fast food outlet that you have at home is now banned from your holiday menu option!
3. Don't try and get a sun tan - Going on a cruise or to a tropical island would be a fantastic holiday. Having to spend days inside doing nothing because it is too painful to move because you fell asleep in the sun while trying to get a tan is one sure way of wrecking your holiday and possibly the people that went with you. Not to mention, trying to get a tan is dangerous to your health as it puts you at risk of getting sun cancer.
4. Miss home - You are on holiday, this is no time to be missing home! Before you plan your holiday, just think about it for a minute and ask yourself, "will I miss home?". If the answer is yes, save your money by not going on holiday because you don't need a holiday, it is that simple!
