NAPIA Provides Guidance for Natural Disaster Victims throughout the United States including Colorado Wildfires and Florida Floods

San Diego, CA, July 10, 2012 - Ronald R. Reitz, Certified Professional Public Adjuster and President of Quality Claims Management in San Diego, was recently named President of NAPIA, the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (www.napia.com).

Public Insurance Adjusters work with homeowners and businesses needing help resolving their damaged property claims with their insurance companies. Public Adjusters advocate for and benefit the insured by providing professional assistance with time-consuming tasks required to calculate and settle a claim and ensuring they receive the full amount due them. Public Adjusters also benefit the insurance company by streamlining the claim process.

Mr. Reitz was elected to help guide the association toward its goal of promoting the highest standards of professional education, conduct and ethics in the field of public insurance adjusting.

Currently President of Quality Claims Management, one of the nation's most respected Public Adjusting firms, Mr. Reitz is recognized as a leading expert on hazard claims. In addition to publishing numerous articles regarding public adjusting, homeowners insurance, and disaster victims rights, he also provides guidance to many in the media who report on these subjects.

Mr. Reitz has helped a wide range of disaster victims, both homeowners and businesses. He has managed insurance recovery efforts for victims of the 2003 and 2007 Southern California wildfires, as well as thousands of victims of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma.

Mr. Reitz serves on many industry panels and provides consulting and training services industry-wide. He pioneered the national hazard insurance claims business of GMAC-RFC (now GMAC-ResCap). Mr. Reitz left GMAC-ResCap in January 2007 after ten years of managing the Insurance Services group. He is also a past President of the California Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (CAPIA).
