My Two Cents About ChristmasThen there are all the ideals that are associated with Christmas: love, peace on earth, charity, giving. It sometimes seems that otherwise year-round mean scrooge people get a chance to show that they're not so bad after all once a year at Christmas. The charity ideal contained in Christmas is wonderful and touching, I feel, but sadly it is juxtaposed with consumerism- which is all about the exact opposite.
