Rated 4 stars just because I haven't had it that long, and I'm unfamiliar with other models. The set meets or exceeds all of my expectations. I got an "S" panel.Pros: The picture is very crisp even in standard definition and lower frequencies. The HD sometimes has an almost 3D effect. I've never had HD before so it's like a whole new world. I'm no audiophile, so the stock speakers/sound is sufficient. Even at relatively low sound levels (ie 10-15, which is maybe 25% of the max volume), it's loud and clear. Plenty of inputs (3 or 4 HDMI, component, RCA, USB, VGA, etc), and the panel is set up so all are easily accessible. Didn't notice much of an upgrade w/ my Xbox 360 when plugged into componenet, but on HDMI it brought out so much detail and color (note: may not have anything to do with the TV, I don't know).
