Being the worst team in the weakest Division of the NFL must be really alarming for the 49ers that began the 2010 season with a 5 game losing strike. Week 9 was their Bye Week, and they reached it with a win –their second of year- against Denver 24-16, which should help them to come in motivated from their rest and start changing things around in Week 10 versus St. Louis. Quarterback Alex Smith is not fully recovered from his left shoulder injury, the same one that kept him away from the victory versus Denver, and that could give Troy Smith one more Sunday as the starter quarterback.
