Now imagine a pilot reading a book with some supposed working principles of flying, then getting on a plane to fly hundreds of people across the country. It sounds insane doesn't it? Well, why oh why is it any different in online day trading? IT ISN'T!
The fact is, while day trading may not involve life or death situations (although it may seem like that when your money is involved), theory melts away quicker than a snowman in Hawaii during live trading. To be successful at online day trading you have to know what works, it must be tested and you MUST have real actual screen time or practice in the markets with a simulator.
In a way, this isn't too original of a concept. That's how it is done in any other industry or field when a person wants to learn how to do something effectively.
