Diwali or Deepawali is one of the most popular festivals in India and among the Indians through out the world
. Diwali is considered as the victory of good over evil, or victory of light over darkness. It is celebrated by the people of different age group in different way. Elders worship god and offer different offering to god including sweets, precious metals like Gold, Silver and Diamonds where as childrens celebrate their holiday with friends burning crackers, youth celebrate with their friends in clubs and party and also burn crackers. Diwali is also popular for one more reason, and that is Diwali is time for the family members to send gifts to their childrens and younger once. Not only children but also employers give different form of gifts to their employees.As it is a more of celebration than of ritual, so many look at Diwali as an occasion of making their loved one happy, and make them feel specials. We often try to find a best gift for our loved ones. While browsing through different gift option I realized that today we have lot of option available for Diwali. The gifts start from clothes to electronic goods, but to be honest there are very few which make a good Diwali gift. I think Diwali gifts should be something that can bring smile to our beloved once and not something that may last for a long time. One may pick an electronic good and claim it may be long lasting but to be honest it would be more of a selfish choice. An electronic good may be useful, but may not make your beloved one happy. The main motive of Diwali is to bring happiness, and I guess an electronic good may not be that successful. However, if you pick something like chocolate, it would bring smile to your beloved ones be it your children, sister or wife.
We all live a very busy life and we all are capable of picking expensive items for our self but in all this busy life we rarely find a minute for our self and pick the chocolates that we love so much. Diwali is the right time to pick exotic chocolate and tell your beloved one how special they are for you.
Well this can go very long as Diwali is such a special day no matter how much you write or talk about it, you will still miss some thing. So to conclude I would suggest you to go by your heart and pick something for your beloved one that they really love, and not something that they would use. You can buy them these expensive electronic gadgets on a birthday or may be on a holiday but for Diwali I recommend only chocolates. So I wish you a happy Diwali do enjoy with your beloved one.
